Liquidation Heatmap

Live

Leveraged positions being force-closed. Long liquidations mean buyers got flushed; short liquidations mean sellers did.

Refreshes every minute · Data by OKX public API

Partial coverage: one exchange. These are real liquidations, but only OKX's — 640 events covering roughly the last 23.7 hours. Binance and Bybit publish liquidations over websocket only, never REST, so a cross-exchange view isn't assemblable for free. Add COINGLASS_API_KEY and this page switches to full 24h multi-venue totals with a per-exchange breakdown.

Reading this page. Windows are cumulative — an event in the 1H bucket also appears in 4H, 12H and 24H. A long liquidation is a leveraged buyer being force-sold, which adds selling pressure; a short liquidation is the reverse. Clusters of one side often mark the end of a move rather than the start, since the forced flow exhausts itself. Notional is the position value at the liquidation price, not trader losses.
